The antipsychotic drug, chlorprothixene, has been added to the list of drugs with Known Risk of Torsades de pointes (TdP) because AZCERT's Scientific Review Committee has found evidence that it is associated with QT prolongation and TdP.
Also, the antidepressant, clomipramine, has been moved from the Possible Risk of TdP list to the list of drugs with Conditional Risk of TdP because of evidence that its use is associated with TdP in the following clinical conditions: hypokalemia, hypomagnesemia, overdose and concomitant use with drugs that prolong the QT interval.
The drugs listed in the QTdrugs database can be found in the free CredibleMeds smartphone app.
