The module was developed by the Center for Education and Research on Therapeutics (CERT) while at Georgetown University (this CERT is now a non-profit 501c3 organization located at AZCERT, Inc. 1457 E. Desert Garden Drive, Tucson, Arizona 85718) in collaboration with the Center for Drug Evaluation and Research at the Food and Drug Administration. The work was sponsored by a federal grant from the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ).
